Privacy policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Introduction

Strata Initiative ("we", "our" or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our services or interact with us.

By using our website and services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use our services.

Information we collect

Personal information

We may collect personal information that you provide voluntarily when you:

  • Contact us through our website forms
  • Request information about our services
  • Join the WildHire waitlist or subscribe to our communications
  • Engage with our services as a client
  • Apply for employment, including uploading a CV through our careers page

This information may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, CV file and any other information you choose to provide. CV files you upload as part of a job application are used only to assess that application.

Automatically collected information

We do not run analytics or tracking on this website. Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs when a page is requested, which include the requesting IP address, browser type and the page requested. We use these logs only to operate the site, diagnose problems and protect against abuse.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking, analytics or marketing cookies. The site stores a single value in your browser's local storage recording the cookie choice you made in the consent banner. See the cookies section below.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain and improve our services
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support
  • Contact you about WildHire if you joined its waitlist
  • Process employment applications
  • Detect, prevent and address technical issues and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
  • Protect our rights, property and safety

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent: you have given clear consent for us to process your data
  • Contract: processing is necessary to perform a contract with you
  • Legal obligation: we need to comply with a legal requirement
  • Legitimate interests: processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests

Information sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: with trusted outside providers who help us operate our website and run our business
  • Business transfers: in connection with any merger, sale or acquisition of our business
  • Legal requirements: when required by law or in response to legal process
  • Protection of rights: to protect the rights, property or safety of Strata Initiative, our users or others
  • With your consent: when you have given us explicit consent to share your information

Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is entirely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure: request deletion of your personal information
  • Restriction: request that we restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability: request transfer of your data to another service
  • Objection: object to our processing of your personal information
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw consent where processing is based on it
  • Opt out: stop marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@stratainitiative.com.

International data transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. We put appropriate safeguards in place to protect your information in line with this policy wherever it is processed.

Data retention

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymize it securely.

Children's privacy

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, share or sell
  • The right to request deletion of personal information we hold
  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • The right to exercise these rights without discrimination

Cookies in detail

This website sets no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local-storage value recording the choice you made in the cookie banner, so it does not reappear on every visit. You can change your choice any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, or clear it through your browser's site-data settings.

If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post any material changes on this page and update the date at the top. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.

If you have questions, concerns or requests about this policy or our data practices, contact us.
